About Elizabeth Koontz 


Elizabeth Koontz has been singing and playing piano since her first solo in church at the age of 5.

After graduating with her Master of Music degree in Voice from Indiana University, Ms. Koontz enjoyed many years performing as an opera singer across the United States. Her voice has been heard in opera houses and concert halls nationwide. Her interpretations of classical and modern repertoire have garnered praise from critics such as Opera News, who describe her as “Golden-Voiced,” and a "Strong, Stirring, and Agile Soprano."


In 2014, she settled back in her hometown of Cincinnati, OH, where she lives with her son, Liam, and dog, Ladybug. Elizabeth regularly sings for official events across the city of Cincinnati and for local churches. She teaches private voice and piano lessons in her home studio in Mariemont and has been teaching for over 15 years. She enjoys teaching people in her community of all ages and levels of proficiency.
